Our Statement
To: (Your Government Representative)
I support a simple 'Fee & Dividend' approach to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as outlined by Dr. James Hansen.
In order to retain the highest standard of living possible for our future, I ask that you act immediately on meaningful greenhouse gas emission reduction policy.
My vote is influenced by your position on this most important matter.
Sincerely,
(Your Name)

Thanks for this John, whenever I have had the chance I have promoted Hansen's idea as the most rational and fair one that has a chance to be effective in our present (unsustainable) growth driven economic systems.

Fee-and-dividend is the most politically realistic approach for reducing carbon emissions as the good majority of the people will come out ahead - if 100 percent of the fee goes to the dividend - as James Hansen proposes. It is our best chance of achieving the necessary political will.

The dividend must be 100%. Do not change anything. In this case, the politicians must simply obey because the scientists are only the messenger from Mother Nature. Nature is the harshest of judges. She has already killed 99% of all species that ever lived. Humanity is no exception.

We will know our politicians by the policies they support.
No climate legislation - either ignorant or uncaring.
Cap and trade - favors money from fossil fuel industry over well-being for the populace.
Tax and dividend - willing to risk choices unpopular amongst those with the most money for the greater good.
